Quarterly application update March to June 2024

With an impending change to the Benevolent Fund’s financial year end to 31st December, this ‘quarterly’ application update covers a four-month period, from 1st March to 30th June 2024. Subsequent quarterly updates will revert to covering a three-month period.

BWC Winter Fuel Grant

Alongside other services and support, the Bank Workers Charity offers NatWest Group pensioners a winter grant of £250 that can be used for costs associated with heating your home in the colder months.

Volunteer support in England

NHS and Care Volunteer Responders is a volunteering service provided by NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care, and delivered by the Royal Voluntary Service and GoodSAM.

Annual application summary 2023-24

Another successful financial year concluded with a large number of first-time applicants requesting financial help from the Benevolent Fund, many having learnt of us via the Group’s pension fund administrators, Willis Towers Watson, whose on-going support is much appreciated.

The Bank Workers Charity’s new friendship telephone service, in partnership with Age UK, can help you create new friendships, because sometimes, it’s just nice to talk. The calls are a chance to share experiences, memories, and make new connections in a safe and friendly space.
